Loose Change
AUD $2.00
Got any spare change rattling around in your digital wallet? Want to help support our authors? Send a couple of dollars our way, and we’ll add them to our author payment fund.
Spare Note
AUD $5.00
Or maybe you’ve got a little more spare change? $5.00 will potentially cover half of an author’s payment. It is certainly a welcome contribution to the author payment fund.
Flash Fiction Patron
AUD $10.00
For any story of 1,000 words or fewer—such as “Optimal” by Simon Petrie—we pay our authors $10.00. That’s right; for just $10 you can completely cover the cost of a story.
Short Stories Patron
AUD $30.00
For $30, you might completely cover the cost of one of Banksia Journal’s longest stories—such as “Widow Maker” by David Wildsmith. Or, you might pay for two, or even three of our shorter ones!
As the most generous option, this also buys the editor’s eternal gratitude.
