Megan

Hi, my name is Megan. I’m a current post graduate student at Curtin majoring in Creative Writing and Editing. I’m a curious writer, reader, researcher and a coffee enthusiast who enjoys analysing online cultural trends in politics, news, music, art and literature. I’m a writer with a knack for satire, short fiction and poetry pieces.

Having surfed the changing dimensions of the internet I like curate and analyse cultural content that impacts an audience, the realm of literature and creative art spaces in particular.

In my free time you’ll find me reading, editing, hiking, hitting the gym or curating playlists for my friends.

Brittany

Again, those email newsletter readers among you may be aware my family was moving house. Well, you will be pleased to know that we have successfully moved into the new house. As I sit here writing, there are half unpacked boxes and paint swatches lining the walls. Swatches aside, all the walls are currently off-white, which is a bit boring. I’m liking the look of Taubmans Deep Desire.

You may be sad to know, however, that there are no banksias in the new garden. There isn’t space to plant a big shrub either. I’ll have to keep my eye out for small banksias that can fit in a pot or planter. Maybe I’ll be able to get my hands on banksia spinulosa “Birthday Candles”?

Finally, don’t forget submissions are now open! If you have a short work of speculative fiction, pleases send it our way.
